Breathtaking views of the scenic land around Lookout Mountain, awesome natural rock formations, and blooming wildflowers abound at Rock City Gardens. The walk up through the gardens heads past a balanced 1,000-ton rock, through tight passageways and over a 180-foot long bridge. The gardens also are ideal for younger children, with 3-D nursery figures and neon-painted dwarves in a black-light cavern. Located atop Lookout Mountain, the gardens are just six miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
